What is It

Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches, Inc., is an Evangelistic Association with Headquarters in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. It's mission is to reach the un-reached people in Nigeria and the uttermost part of the world, through mass and person-to-person evangelism, crusades, conferences and seminars. It is a non denominational, non profit Evangelistic Association with evangelists from various home churches who come together to present Christ to the un-reached nations.

Brief History

The vision of Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches, Inc., was received on the 20th. of November, 1984. The same day the Lord called the founder and president, Rev. Joseph Tata Mariere with a clear voice saying: “I have chosen you as a vessel to go into the world with my word, ministering salvation, healing, Miracles and deliverance. My power shall flow through you, if you will obey my voice.”

Also around that period, as a brother was praying with the founder, God opened the brother's eyes to see into the realm of the Spirit and he gave the following prophecy: “I can see a mighty light shinning. I can see a great multitude gathering in form of a crusade. I can see the light shinning upon you. I can see you preaching to the multitude. Behold thou are called to be an evangelist, for you are an evangelist indeed, saith the Lord”

After graduating as a surveyor from the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Nigeria, in obedience to the word of God, he started preaching the word of God in churches, in crusades with God confirming his word with signs following. Close to the end of 1986, he had a ministration in the spirit that the assignment is great, there is the need for serious preparation. The preparation began in 1987, when he became a student in All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, in Benin City, Nigeria. After graduation, he was led to take appointment with Church of God mission Int'l, Inc.

In January, 1988, he pastored his first church at Odoni, Bayelsa State. The leadership of the Church saw evangelistic zeal in him and transferred him to the Headquarter branch and was appointed the state Evangelist for the mission in Rivers State, Nigeria.

He was given the mandate to organise crusades and open new branches. By the grace of God upon his life, he was able to conduct crusades that led to the opening of the following branches of Church of God Mission Int'l, Inc.: Bonny Branch, Opobo branch, Buguma branch, Abonnema branch, Nikporlu Rumogbo branch to mention but a few; all in Rivers State, Nigeria.

Since then he has been involved in crusades, seminars and church planting Outreaches. He has also pioneered the Gospel of Life bible Church.

In the month of June 21st, 2001 at about 12:07 pm, while on a conference in Tulsa Oklahoma, USA, he had a ministration and life changing encounter with God to march out into the world Harvest field and reap the perishing multitudes of souls for God. The Lord strongly urged him not to wait or waste time anymore. “For I have chosen thee as a great Evangelist and Soul Winner, go and reap souls for me.” On arrival to Nigeria, on the Second of February, 2002, Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches, Inc., was inaugurated and commissioned.

In attendance were many men and women of God from different churches and denominations who came to witness the great event and to lend their support. Since then the Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches, Inc., has conducted many crusades, outreaches, seminars and conferences, throughout Nigeria and beyond.

Goals and Objectives

1. To carry the word of God to every nation, town village; demonstrating and declaring the salvation, deliverance, Miracle and healing power of God and making them to know the true God and his Son Jesus Christ.
2. To organise conferences and seminars to build up Pastors, Evangelists, Prophets, Apostles, Teachers and Church Workers to have unquenchable zeal for thework of God and burden for souls.
3. To provide other social services to the underprivileged aimed to speedy reconcillation of sinners to God
4. To raise and train indigenous Evangelists and Missionaries who will reach their own people with the gospel and even go to other nations.
5. To offer prayers of faith for nations, states, towns, villages and individuals for the healing of the spirit, soul, and body.

Vision

Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches, Inc., is called out to populate the kingdom of God, before the second coming of Christ. To evangelise the unreached people and raise up Christians fully discipled to carry on the word of God and also to support Christian Missions and Missionaries around the world. The entire vision is summed up in making Christ known to the nations of the world.

Management

Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches, Inc., is run by a Board of Directors and Associate Evangelists, which makes decisions and policy for the Association. The Board of Directors is composed of men and women of proven integrity who have distinguished themselves in their respective areas, both in ministry and professional careers.

Support and Financing

Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches, Inc., is financed solemnly by faith. Also the Association is financed by Joseph Mariere World Evangelism Outreaches Inc Partners, seedfaith from individuals, and free will offerings from supporting churches, both in cash and in kind.

Statement of Belief

We Believe:

1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
2. In one God eternally existing in three persons; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended into heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor.
4. In Divine Healing.
5. In full salvation by grace
6. In the evangelisation of heathen and nations of the world.
7. In Christian tolderance to all denomination of Christian Faith.
8. In obedience to civil government
9. In speaking with tongues as the Spirit gives utterances.
